When my husband needed a new website to showcase his Flash and Video work, I was inspired by the game show Press Your Luck, where his different portfolio items are displayed on a “game board” that changes randomly. And while the concept is based on a game show, I wanted the visual language to be different. Most game shows are bright flashy and garish, which is why I chose muted colors and gritty textured layers to convey the depth and gravity a portfolio website deserves.
